Pay as you go parking at White Moss Car Park, postcode LA22 9SE.

It can get quite busy but there are two car parks on either side of the road which frees up some space.

Why we love this walk?

We had the best day playing by the water at Rydal.

The route is a lovely stroll from the car park down to the water, the first half of this route is certainly pram accessible. If you had an off road pram you could potentially complete the full route with a pram – within the woods the track can get slightly steep and bumpy!

Another lovely walk for little legs and one that would be ideal for the summer holidays as you can spend a full day here by the water. We all need some summer holiday inspiration at times! This is also a great walk for rainy days as some of the walk is sheltered when walking through the woodland.

You could link this walk with Rydal Caves very nicely as you are very close to the entrance to the caves.
