Travel Actively
The Hiking Household are excited to announce they have developed a series of 4 trail maps in Carlisle to enable people to travel more actively. We hope that these maps help people to bike, scoot or walk more frequently on their everyday journeys.
The Hiking Household maps are part of a national programme which is supported by the Travel Actively Fund – a funding source for organisations working with, or planning to work with the targeted audiences in Barrow and Carlisle
Each of our maps are easy to access, with regular bus routes available. They offer a range of routes from short to slightly longer. There are multiple places to stop, rest and take in the scenery along the routes.
The maps are free to download and are fantastic for all ages, young and old! You can pick these maps up around the city of Carlisle or you can download, for free, below.
