What to expect:

This woodland walk is a perfect walk for all seasons. Here at The Hiking Household we always love walks that protect us from the elements – especially as the wet weather is drawing ever closer.

The walk itself is two miles long and perfect for little legs of the family. The woodlands offer a great space to explore; look out for the many boardwalks, bridges and sculptured benches.

There are many different routes that you are able to take in both Kingmoor South and Kingmoor North Nature Reserve. On this occasion we explored Kingmoor South and parked in the free car park at the start of the nature reserve just off Kingmoor Road, nearest postcode CA3 9PZ.

The walk is well signposted throughout, it doesn’t matter which way you walk as long as you are having fun exploring the great outdoors! If you would like to follow the exact 2 mile route that we took there is a link to our Strava map below.
