Kingmoor North Nature Reserve is a fantastic short walk for all abilities and is suitable for any pram, bike, scooter and little legs! My children love to explore in the woods, climb the trees and there is a great mini hill to bike/scooter down. It is about 1.5-2 miles overall and with my boys on wheels and pushing the girls in a pram it usually takes about 45-60 minutes.

There is plenty of free parking on the side of the road by kingmoor industrial estate. You are able to cross the bypass into the South Kingmoor Nature Reserve for a longer walk, see North & South Kingmoor Walk for more details.

This was our lockdown walk that we completed nearly everyday March-July! During lockdown there was a wonderful array of fairy doors to see which the children loved. These have sadly all been taken down now but it is still a great short walk full of adventure for all children.
