Tynemouth Aquarium:
If you are after a full day trip then this is our go to activity! Our children LOVE a trip to Tynemouth Aquarium.
This aquarium is situated directly opposite the coast making it a perfect place to visit both the beach and the inside attraction, postcode: NE30 4JF.
The aquarium is geared up brilliantly for younger children offering many different talks and shows, including the well loved seal show. You can find a whole array of animals whilst exploring this aquarium – and not just underwater animals! Watch out for those cheeky monkeys.
The cafe onsite is also extremely well catered for little ones making it a perfect place for a full day trip. There is a Pay & Display car park opposite the aquarium and plenty of safe crossing areas to walk across to the beach.
An excellent family fun day out that we never tire of.
