Seven Stories:

The National Centre of Children’s Books is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, postcode NE1 2PQ. This wonderful day out is a family favourite, aimed particularly at primary aged children. There is limited car parking on Lime Street, close to the museum. Within the museum you will find toilets, cafe, shop and baby changing facilities. 

Visit this phenomenal museum for free, open everyday except Wednesdays in term time, and everyday in the school holidays. This very special seven-storey building brings stories to life. Showcasing different exhibitions on each level allowing children to hear the stories behind the stories. If you have children who enjoy reading then this day out is for you!

Seven Stories hosts events, workshops and story times each and every week. They have an array of events for all the school holidays, this May 2022 half term you can enjoy a story performance of ‘Oh no, George!’ and daily story times on the hour, every hour.
