Keswick to Threlkeld
The Keswick to Threlkeld trail reopened in December 2020 after Storm Desmond caused incredible damage to the path. This 5km route to Threlkeld is absolutely fantastic for children of all ages as you are able to use your bikes, scooters, rollerblades and prams! It is such an easy path to access yet it still covers a good distance to help tire those children out!
You are able to pay & display at the Keswick Leisure Centre car park (postcode: Station Rd, CA12 4NE) which leads you directly onto the safe, traffic free path.
The route is very close to many amenities within Keswick, a highlight is certainly Fitz Park which I have reviewed previously.
A lovely, safe and easy day out for the children – and a wonderful change in scenery for us adults. The large tunnel always creates great excitement!
