Kendal Castle
Kendal Castle sits in a prominent position above Kendal town on Castle Hill, this results in some fantastic views of Kendal! We were able to investigate the ruins and enjoy views of the town and surrounding countryside.
We parked close to the start of the footpath leading up to Castle Hill, on the road next to Fletcher Park (Postcode LA9 7DJ).
If the weather had been a little better we would have been able to explore Fletcher Park and all of the other lovely footpaths surrounding Castle Hill. However, exploring the castle ruins on its own is also a lovely little trip.
We were in Kendal today to do a through the window wave at my Grandma who we haven’t seen much of due to covid restrictions so we shall certainly be back soon to hunt through more of the Kendal countryside!
