Exhibition Park:

This lovely park can be found in the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The nearest postcode is NE2 4PZ, we usually park at the Pay & Display car park on Claremont Road which is a very short walk from the park.

There is so much to see, and do, here for the whole family. There are plenty of green spaces for little ones and there are two children’s play areas. The first play park caters for younger infants with sand, swings and a small slide. The second play area is aimed at older children – my eldest two love it here! There is a climbing wall and a larger slide. Exhibition park also has a cafe, toilets, a duck pond and a skate park.

There really is something for everyone.

A short, enjoyable family attraction!

Why not pair this walk with a trip to the town centre for some shopping? Or enjoy a visit to The Hancock Museum, which is only a short walk from Exhibition Park.

We often take a trip to this park when we have a hospital appointment to attend. Exhibition Park is a stones throw away from The Great North Children’s Hospital, so if you ever find yourself having to attend an appointment then be sure to visit Exhibition Park before/after!
