🐦 Dubwath Silver Meadows Nature Reserve 🐦

This is a lovely, easy route surrounded by beautiful views of the Lake District. There is plenty of lay-by parking next to the entrance and the route is pram accessible. The map shows the different paths you are able to take – there are also leaflets…. my kids LOVE a leaflet πŸ˜‚

It is a short route of about 1 mile but you could opt to do it twice… it is a great walk to link in with a picnic, or bring some grandparents with you and make it a full family trip out πŸ’œ

This is a route that is certainly accessible to all, including wheelchairs. It could be one that would be quite nice for a Tikes Hikes walk over the summer months with a little picnic πŸ’šπŸ’œ

It is close to Bassenthwaite Lake if you decided to head there afterwards, equally it is very close to Sale fell and Ling fell, two Wainwright walks that I have previously reviewed.

Dubwath Silver Meadows may be a short walk, but it is in a prime location for so many things.
