There is limited parking at the base of Catbells, nearest postcode CA12 5UG.

Why we love this walk
We FINALLY managed to get the whole family together to walk Catbells – a family favourite.
The children really did us proud, they always put all of their effort in to the walks and whining was at a minimum today.
The route that we take is what we call ‘the picnic route’ – it is often quieter and we find there is less scrambling involved. The route is approximately four miles long and, while it is steep in parts, our three year old managed it no problem.
A wonderful family walk with breathtaking views.
