The Ridge, Brampton
This 2 mile route in Brampton is another lovely rainy day walk. You are well protected by trees and the views from the top are beautiful! We were very lucky to go at a time when the bluebells were out ?
The route itself is a 2 mile loop, you are able to park on The Sands just outside Brampton on the Lanercost Road. Nearest postcode: CA8 1UG.
The start of the walk begins with a steep hill, it then levels off for the duration of the walk. This walk isn’t accessible for prams.
A great, local walk with plenty for the children to explore – we saw bluebells, cows, a huge den and plenty of trees to climb!
