Loweswater
This three mile, pram accessible walk begins at Maggies Bridge National Trust Car Park: CA13 0RU. A little pre warning – there are only spaces for 6-8 cars and it can get full quite fast. Although this walk is very close to our Crummock Water walk that I have previously reviewed so there are plenty of other walks to explore if this car park is full.
This walk is fantastic for children as you can just go as far as you would like, it is only about one mile to the shoreline so if you are having a tricky day, with non compliant children, you could just get to the waters edge and enjoy your time there – opposed to having a longer walk!
There is so much for the children to explore, a Bothy, dens, treehouses and tree carvings! All of the children agreed that they would like to bring their Daddy here when he gets back onshore.
